I am a long time fan of Alanis. I have had the Jagged Little Pill CD since 1996 and have listened to it over and over and over again. One day, after having it over a year, I was cleaning and blasting it as usual and the CD ended or at least I thought it had. A song started to play, acappella, that I had never heard. Well, I thought that the CD changer had just skipped to the next disc. The lyrics to that song just made me cry. They were so true and relative to my life. "Would you forgive me love, if I danced in your shower? Would you forgive me love, if I laid in your bed? Would you forgive me love, if I stayed all afternoon?" It's IRONIC that in all that time of having the CD, I never heard that song until then. It happened at what I believed to be a major turning point in my life. I was giving up on one guy (my ex) to totally give myself to another. The song just gave me the extra push I needed to really get rid of my ex.
